Hi, I'm Niamh Ablett and I'm 5 1/2 years old. I went fishing with my Dad at the beginning of May on the old lake and I caught my very first carp. It weighed 7lb 4oz and I caught it on float fished luncheon meat. I can't wait for him to take me again! |

I caught this Common Carp on Wednesday 14th May 2008 from just off the island by the rickety footbridge on the specimen lake. I was using a method feeder with hair rigged pellet paste. The weight of the fish was 20lb 3ozs Matthew Pawley |

Caught Friday 25th Apr on maize. Found some carp feeding next to the little footbridge baited the swim and half hour later Bang a 17lb 9oz common on the bank was well chuffed also lost another 10mins later off the same spot. |

Hello, My name is Greg Henshall I'm 16, i recently did a short session on the New Lake, on the sunday just gone, very cold, wet and windy, at around 3.00pm after a long (ish) fight i landed this 19.08lb Mirror Carp, in perfect condition!!! |
